On the morning of March 27, 2025, Aero K’s aircraft departed for its home country, marking the completion of VAECO’s first scheduled maintenance for the airline. This was one of the most challenging periodic maintenance tasks, as the aircraft’s advanced age led to numerous complex technical requirements. During the process, VAECO’s team of engineers encountered several unforeseen issues, including structural defects that were difficult to detect. However, thanks to its extensive experience and close coordination among internal units, VAECO identified the optimal solutions, reducing repair time while ensuring maintenance quality met international standards. Notably, the proactive approach in inspection and aircraft condition assessment enabled the team to promptly detect potential defects and implement appropriate solutions, meeting the airline’s stringent requirements. The success of this maintenance not only reaffirms VAECO’s technical expertise but also lays the foundation for long-term cooperation with Korean airlines in the future.
