On July 16, 2025, in a warm and festive atmosphere celebrating the inaugural flights of DHL Air Limited, Thai AirAsia, and Greater Bay Airlines to Vietnam, VAECO proudly delivered the first line maintenance services to these customers, demonstrating both readiness and technical expertise in supporting international airlines.
Thai AirAsia - a leading low-cost carrier in Southeast Asia headquartered in Bangkok -operates dozens of international routes, including popular flights to Vietnamese cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and most recently, Hai Phong. Likewise, DHL Air Limited - a cargo airline under DHL Express specializing in international freight transport - has also made its presence in the Vietnamese market. Meanwhile, Greater Bay Airlines, a relatively young airline based in Hong Kong established in 2020 to connect the Greater Bay Area, remains unfamiliar to many Vietnamese passengers, although it has begun expanding its network to destinations such as Bangkok, Taipei, Tokyo, and more recently, Phu Quoc.
Despite the varying levels of brand recognition in Vietnam, all three carriers have selected VAECO as their line maintenance partner from their very first flights.
This milestone not only marks a new chapter in the regional aviation network but also continues to expand and strengthen VAECO’s customer portfolio - particularly in providing aviation technical services to international airlines.
