Manpower
VAECO currently has over 2800 full-time personnel working 42 hours per week. More than 1800 employees work directly on aircraft maintenance and 800 employees are licensed engineers qualified to work on different types of aircraft such as the A350, A320, A321, A330, B787, B777, ATR72/42…
Our AOG (Aircraft on ground) team is ready to provide 24/7 assistance throughout the year utilizing our best technical support staffs.
Facility
Hangars
VAECO has total of six hangars at two main bases (Noibai and Tan Son Nhat International Airports) which are suitable for maintaining both narrow and wide-bodied aircraft. Each hangar is specialized and fully equipped with facilities including a versatile aircraft docking system, overhead cranes and tele-platforms to enable our aircraft maintenance professional full access to the aircraft during servicing.
Component workshops
VAECO has well equipped component maintenance centres with oxygen, nitrogen, NDT, calibration… workshops and can manufacture aviation products.
Warehouse system
The warehouse for storage, quarantine and control of spare parts and materials meets the requirements of the manufacturers, authorities, and customers.
Training facility
VAECO's training facility with sufficient equipment is certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to conduct aircraft maintenance training courses.
Parking areas
VAECO now has more than 20 parking bay for narrow and wide - body aircraft. VAECO Parking areas at 256.5 m width can simultaneously accommodate 05 wide-body aircraft, 13 narrow-body aircrafts.
