From November 29 to December 8, 2024, VAECO successfully carried out periodic maintenance for Air Seoul. Established in 2016, Air Seoul is a South Korean airline and a subsidiary of Asiana Airlines (OZ), one of South Korea's largest carriers.
During the maintenance period, VAECO's engineers and technical team focused on additional key technical tasks, including exterior aircraft painting, non-destructive testing using X-ray methods, rudder anti-vibration measures and elevator maintenance for the customer’s aircraft. These tasks were completed in strict accordance with the aircraft manufacturer’s maintenance directives and the specific requirements set forth by the airline. The maintenance process was completed on schedule, delivering exceptional quality that exceeded expectations while fully meeting Air Seoul's stringent standards.
Air Seoul currently operates several direct routes between South Korea and Vietnam, connecting Da Nang and soon Hanoi with Seoul (Incheon).
