June 26, 2024 - at the VAECO headquarters, China Southern Airlines solemnly awarded "The Best Maintenance Agent Award Of CSN" to VAECO to recognize outstanding contributions in aircraft maintenance. The ceremony was attended by senior representatives of both sides and relevant units.

At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Minh Hiep, Vice President of VAECO, represented the company to receive the award from Ms. Cheng Shao Hong, General Manager of China Southern Airlines. Speaking at the event, Ms. Cheng Shao Hong highly appreciated VAECO's service quality and professionalism in maintaining and ensuring safety for China Southern Airlines aircraft during the past time. This is the second consecutive time VAECO has been honored to receive the award. It should be emphasized that China Southern Airlines only awarded this award to 05 of its partners in all fields worldwide.

After the certificate award ceremony, the two sides had an in-depth discussion on measures to maintain and improve the quality of line maintenance in general, especially expanding cooperation in aircraft maintenance in the coming time. During the discussion, VAECO and China Southern Airlines shared experiences and proposed new technical solutions and processes to optimize maintenance efficiency and improve aircraft reliability and safety.Mr. Pham Minh Hiep said: "Being awarded by China Southern Airlines is a great recognition of the continuous efforts of all VAECO employees. We are committed to continuing to improve and further perfect our services to best meet customer requirements and contribute to the sustainable development of the aviation industry."

This event not only marks an important step forward in the cooperation between VAECO and China Southern Airlines, but is also an opportunity for both sides to look back at the achievements they have achieved and aim for higher goals in the future. The ceremony ended successfully, opening up many new prospects for strong and effective cooperation between the two sides in the field of aviation maintenance.

China Southern Airlines is the largest airline in China and Asia in terms of fleet size (more than 600 aircraft) as well as the number of passengers transported. Currently, the airline is operating direct flights from Tan Son Nhat international airports (Ho Chi Minh City), Noi Bai (Hanoi), Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa) to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, and Shanghai,  Hunan with a frequency of 15 flights/day.
