From August 1 to August 12, 2024, VAECO completed an Event Check for the A321 aircraft of Philippine Airlines (PAL). This is the first time VAECO and PAL have cooperated in the field of aircraft maintenance, marking an important step for VAECO in expanding cooperation with Philippine Airlines as well as other airlines in the region and the world.
PAL is the national airline of the Philippines. Founded in 1941, PAL is not only the first airline but also the oldest in Asia still operating under the same name. PAL owns a diverse fleet of modern aircraft from Airbus and Boeing, serving both domestic and international routes, from short regional flights to long transcontinental flights.
This successful cooperation between VAECO and PAL is a testament to the continuous development of the regional aviation industry and a solid foundation for future strategic cooperation projects.
