Building on the success of the first aircraft, by 12 December 2025, VAECO successfully completed the C02 scheduled maintenance check for Lufthansa’s third A350 aircraft, marking the completion of the first phase of the winter maintenance program covering five Lufthansa A350 checks. The maintenance work was carried out under stringent schedule and technical requirements, with maximum resource mobilization, flexible operational management, and close coordination among VAECO’s functional units, together with the customer’s on-site supervisory team. Notably, the practical experience gained from the first maintenance package, completed on 13 November 2025, played a key role in ensuring that subsequent maintenance checks were executed efficiently, safely, and in strict accordance with the planned schedule.
Lufthansa’s maintenance inspection representative expressed satisfaction with the quality of the check, while acknowledging and highly appreciating the technical competence of VAECO’s engineering team, particularly the high standard of cabin finishing—clean, neat, and well-prepared—prior to the aircraft’s return to service.
It is expected that Lufthansa’s fourth aircraft will continue to be inducted at VAECO for scheduled maintenance during the Lunar New Year 2026 period. With a strong commitment to delivering the highest quality services and fully meeting customer requirements, VAECO is determined to mobilize its workforce to operate throughout the Tet holiday to complete the maintenance check in compliance with the agreed quality standards and turnaround time (TAT).
This achievement stands as clear evidence of the trust international customers place in VAECO’s capabilities, reputation, and service quality. VAECO remains committed to upholding a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and high focus, thereby further reinforcing its position in the regional and international aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) market.
