VAECO performed the first C-Check for Air Busan Aircraft

The Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company (VAECO) has successfully completed its first C Check for an Air Busan (BX) aircraft. The maintenance process took place from August 16 to September 7, 2024.

During the maintenance perfomance, VAECO’s engineering team carried out comprehensive inspections and maintenance, fully adhering to international safety and technical standards. This event marks a significant milestone in strengthening the cooperative relationship between VAECO and Air Busan, as well as with other major airlines in the region and globally.

This achievement not only demonstrates VAECO’s capability to deliver high-quality maintenance services but also solidifies its position in the regional and global aircraft maintenance market. Although Air Busan is a low-cost carrier operating independently, it benefits from strategic and financial support from Asiana Airlines, enabling it to expand its route network and optimize services.

Air Busan is headquartered in Busan. Founded in 2007, the airline operates domestic and international flights, focusing on providing affordable and efficient services. It operates numerous domestic routes, particularly between Busan and other cities in South Korea, as well as international flights to destinations across East Asia, including Japan, China, and Southeast Asia.
